Wroclaw - The Gothic St. John the Baptist Cathedral

Nach einem langen und harten Arbeitstag, möchte ich euch doch trotzdem noch eine meiner bekommenen Postkarten vorstellen. Das bringt mich auch noch ein bisschen runter =) Und natürlich ein guter Kaffee.

Diese Karte zeigt die Dominsel in Wroclaw, Polen, mit dem gotischen Dom zu St. Johann. Irgendwie sieht der Dom mit seinen Türmen schon fast wie Patchwork aus. Zumindest die verschieden gemusterten und gebauten Turm-Etagen. Dome, Münster und große Kirchen finde ich durchaus imposant. Ich bin zwar nicht gläubig, habe aber doch etwas für schöne und große Architektur übrig.

Wroclaw, oder auch auf Deutsch "Breslau" ist eine relativ große Stadt mit über 600.000 Einwohnern. Sie ist außerdem die Hauptstadt Schlesiens. In Wroclaw gibt es einen Zoo, was ja noch nichts Besonderes ist. Aber hier wird ein neues Gebäuse gebaut. Das "Afrykarium", was das komplette Ökosystem Afrikas darstellen soll. Klingt gut und die Bilder zeigen ein sehr schönes und ausgefallenes Gebäude. Schaut mal.

After a long and hard working day, I'd like to show you a further postcard anyway. That cools me down a little. =) And of course a good coffee.

This postcard shows The Cathedral Island from Wroclaw, Poland, with the Gothic St. John the Baptist Cathedral. Anyhow the Cathedral looks like Patchwork with it's towers. At least the different patterned and built tower-floors. Cathedrals, minsters and big churches are imposing for me. I am not religious indeed, but I have something spare for beautiful and big architecture. 

Wroclaw, or in German "Breslau" is a relative big city with a population of more than 600.000. Besides that, Wroclaw is the maincity of Silesia. There also exists a zoo in Wroclaw. Should be nothing special. But there will be build a new building. Called "Afrykarium", which should show the completely ecosystem of Africa. Sounds good and the pictures show a really beautiful and fancy building. Watch yourself.
