Detroit - The Motor City - Postcard from the USA

Was haben Ford, Chrysler und GM gemeinsam? All diese Automarken machten einst die US-Stadt Detroit, Michigan zur weltberühmten Auto-Stadt der USA. Dieses Thema behandelt auch diese Postkarte, die ich von Carlos erhalten habe. Er hat mir eine der Multiview Karten geschickt, die in Detroit sicherlich sehr oft als Souvenir mitgenommen werden.

Zu erkennen sind einige Klassiker, und wirkliche Oldtimer der Autostadt. Alles Babys, die einst dort geboren wurden. Hoffe ich zumindest =) Wirklich schöne Modelle sind dabei, die ich durchaus auch mal gerne fahren würde, wenn ich mal die Möglichkeit dazu bekäme =)

Leider ist die Stadt, ja die komplette Stadt, seit 2013 insolvent. Die Automarken können die Stadt nicht mehr halten, große Firmen verschwinden und die Kriminalität wird immer größer. Schade um diese einst schillernde Stadt mit weltmacht.

What's the common of Ford, Chrysler and GM? All these auto brands made the US-city Detroit, Michigan to the most famous auto city in the USA, once. This postcard also handles about this issue, which I've got from Carlos. He send me one of the multiview cards which will be buyed very often as a souvenir in Detroit for sure. 

To see are some classic cars, but also real oldtimers of the motor city. All are babys which were born there once. I hope so xD Really beautiful types are with them, which I also really like to drive if I get the chance. 

Unfortunately Detroit is insolvent since 2013. The auto brands can't hold the city any more, big companys are leaving the city and the crime is growing. It's a shame for this once dazzling city with global power.
